The first semester of the third edition of the postgraduate studies completed

On Saturday the 4th July 2015 at the Experimental Station of Faculty of Agriculture and Biology of Warsaw Agricultural University in Skierniewice the first semester of the third edition of the postgraduate studies for agricultural consultants “Trading in fertilizers and crop protection chemicals in sustainable agriculture” was completed.

After the last lectures the participants together with the organizers from the Puławy Competence Center and Warsaw University of Life sciences (SGGW) took part in the integration dinner. Additionally the students filled out the anonymous questionnaires which aim was to evaluate the past semester.

– I have often mentioned that these studies were also a challenge for us as the organizers. Our ambition is to have studies with the highest level of transferred knowledge. Hence these regularly conducted questionnaires helpful in improving our educational program appeared – said Zenon Pokojski Ph. D., the Coordinator of the Puławy Competence Center.

The first semester of educational program consisted of a total 120 hours of lectures and practical classes. 40 participants gained current knowledge concerning properties of crop protection chemicals and fertilizers, their influence on the environment and abilities to use it in a practice.

The aim of the studies is to prepare experts in the newest technologies of integrated crop production and trading in fertilizers and crop protection chemicals and as the consequence combine chemicals distribution chain with advisory system of their effective and safe usage.
