Puławy Competence Center a partner in symposium “Microelements in agriculture and environment”
From 21st to 24th June 2016 in Kudowa Zdrój (Lower Silesia region) there will be taking place 13th International Symposium “Microelements in agriculture and environment”.
The host of the event is the Department of Plant Nutrition of Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences and the President of the Organizing Committee is professor Zofia Spiak, who is a member of the Scientific Council of Puławy Competence Center.
The tradition of regular meetings where scientific achievements and research into microelements are presented dates back to 1966, when the first conference on microelements in soils, plants and animal nutrition took place. Since that year the symposia have been organized every four years and are the only symposia in Poland and in Europe which deal with the subject of microelements in broader agriculture. Their participants are people working for life science universities, research institutes, agrochemical stations, companies producing microelement fertilizers and those producing relevant equipment.
